Kingston Place features over 20 different floor plan specifications that you can select from, or if you prefer you may use your own plan, provided they meet the Community Specifications. Before you build, determine the exterior style of you new home: exterior finishes, shape, roof type, personality and exterior color scheme. Think about the interior floor plan: entry, kitchen, baths, master suite, children's area, guest areas, living area, storage, laundry room, garage (attached or detached) and the relationships of these areas one to the other. Interior finish materials: painted walls, moldings and other trim, built-ins, cabinets, counter tops, vanity tops, plumbing fixtures, appliances and flooring. There may be special features that you want to include in your new home that may reduce the cost of living in the home. Energy efficiency items should be evaluated by the initial cost, the increased payment on your mortgage versus the potential savings (on your monthly utility bills), rebates from the utility companies and the "payback" time. Some mortgage companies offer special loans for energy efficient homes. When comparing the financing costs to the costs of energy, it is sometimes worthwhile to upgrade energy features when you build in order to lower utility costs while you are living in the home. Just because a home is less expensive than another does not mean it is better value. Likewise, a more expensive home does not assure higher quality. Price alone should not be the determining factor... Quality, reliability and compatibility are essential. Below are the floor plans currently available.
